I vote the window hand out but you must be driving Stupie...I should know tomorrow if this 30/31 will work... after that I don't care what happens to the 34
Good Luck. Does your Bro-inlaw know how to install the 30-31 ?   Don't let anybody "mess" with the engine timing.  If someone wants that 34, for God sake let him have it
You may have one of those "made in China" switches

Justin is going to do it since he still has my LED lights to install. I will tell him not to mess with the timing he did say something about adjusting the valves...I plan on saying fairwell to that 34 and hope someone else has better luck with it. I thought everything was made in China? Do I have a choice?

Justin should be able to do that. Go ahead and let him adjust the valves and change the oil as long as he has FeeBee. You need to adjust the valves if are around 600-1000 miles. After that , adjust valves every 3000 miles and change the oil every 1500 miles.    20W50 if you please.   Richard would learn a lot of new words if he had to change the oil himself.

 Smelly Cat has a 009 distributor . . . DO NOT LET HIM GET HIS HANDS ON ANOTHER 34 CARB!!!  Everybody and their brother has tried to make this combination work.  All have failed.  SC will only end up with a bigger headache than he already has.   ](*,)

I hve made the combination work.....

And will take the secret to my grave...

Mainly because i don't know exactly what i did.... :?

OK, I'll rephrase that statement . . . Everybody and their brother has tried to make that combination work and most have failed . . . the few who have made it work either won't tell or don't know exactly how they did it.

I've run that combination before myself.  When I say it "won't work" that's a little bit of lie.  If you know a few tricks, it will sort'a work . . . sort'a.  It's real easy to get a 009/34 combo to idle good and to run at great at highway speeds . . . it's the getting from idle to highway speed part that doesn't work so well.

darn ignition switches for 71 supers.   Stupies was bad,  so I price one.  all the bugs before 71 were like 20 bucks and after 72  were 30 bucks but the 71 super switch was like 60 bucks.   Thus the famous GE dryer starter button was invented.   SC

No need to install the agitator button... the chassis vibration takes care of that quite nicely.
