FeeBee's about to get her first oil change. Any suggestions on the oil type and filter?

Filter?   :?

Unless you have one of the aftermarket spin-ons, they just use a strainer....

Oil... 20w50 castrol is always my  prefered.

You have no filter but you have a oil strainer that should be cleaned every oil change. The strainer is under the round cover under the car.  You may have a  plate that has to be taken off just to change the oil.  The later engines had no drain plug.( I forgot which plate you have) You will need a set oil strainer gaskets. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE six  little 10mm nuts. They can be tender.
Most owners use Castrol 20W50 GTX      What ever brand you use DO NOT use any thing less than 20-W-50 year around.

 Smelly Cat has a 009 distributor . . . DO NOT LET HIM GET HIS HANDS ON ANOTHER 34 CARB!!!  Everybody and their brother has tried to make this combination work.  All have failed.  SC will only end up with a bigger headache than he already has.   ](*,)

Stupie is looking forward to a a new carb.  I have figured out how to back fire when I want.  I pump the pas pedal while I accelerate then Floor it.  Stupie bogs down for a second then ,,,,,, Bang,  and we takes off like a flaming lizard.   Too funny.  SC

If stupie isn't going to use the 34 with his 009 then I would like to have it.
I might have a good 30/31 then... (would work better with his 009...)
Thanks,
KC :D

Sc now I don't claim to be a mechanic but something tells me that is not a good thing to do with Stupie. ASbug if Stupie can't use that 34 you are welcome to it. Of course Justin was going to clean my house 16 times for it

One more thing...SC Stupie is a 71 Super like FeeBee so if the 34 does not work on her then it stands to reason that Stupie needs a 30/31 WITH ADAPTER (see I was listening) too.

I have 2 - 34 pict carbs and both ran bad.  Although the one I run with now seemed to idle in 2008 but in 2009 it is acting bad.  Maybe Virgo trades
ASbug the 34 for 30/31,  Then Stupie buys Vorgo lunch and gets a 30/31,  Or I pick up the 34 and take to Asbug and we swap.  Or maybe we both drive down the interstate at 9pm and hand the carbs thru the windows at 55mph.  I'm deferring to Zens Judgment that SCat+Stupie+34 pict are bad medicine.

BTW....The 30/31 is a secret  So if you ever see me and Rick don't ask how it's doing    Now I need a new ignition switch. I was stuck at the Kangaroo for 15 min and my key wouldn't turn just as I was about to call the wrecker it turned. We just put that switch on
