I,m about to go check my timing and carb settings. Should be test driving it soon. I think my cheap feeler gauge is junk. I adjusted the valve clearance but going up a hill it chatters a little. I decided to recheck the timing to be sure. David,I'll come by tommorrow and pick up the tube and lett you look it over if that's ok,if not maybe I'll see you at the cruise in.

I did the impossible,I turned oil into water. Not really but if you heat it up enough it looks like dirty water.

Long story short.... Car overheated... oil pressure dropped to nada.... Oil blew out ,everything got soaked in it,I burned the crap outta myself....and Burger King has plenty of 20w50 in there parking lot. [-(

How did it happen . Well after cusing and calming down I found that the firewall insulation fell and blocked off my fan. Everything was downhill afterthat. I pulled it out and chucked it,refilled with new oil and sputtered home.I just finished cleaning it up and everything runs good.  :)

Oh and I missed my tatoo apointment!

Well after removing, rebuilding and trouble shooting everything I screwed up. I checked the timing,Valve clearance, carb settings and everything I could think of and the Bug is alive,I went by Bugtechs house just to make sure and to pick up the proper DS tube (thanks,David). So all that and the Godfathers blessings,I'm roadworthy again. :)
