I only had a extended visit at the end of days but it was like an igloo in that place. And as for leaks it had plenty.

Hey Big-D,   Another reason that Rickey stayed close is that he learned how to put a deck lid back on without teaching the whole "hood" a foreign language

For the record, too, Jim used to refer to his garage as, and I quote, "a big dump.".....
nuff said.
Actually, another reason I hung around close to David was for a shield.
You see, I would periodically try to clean up stuff around the place and Jim would sometimes become aggravated when he couldn't find the utterly useless thing that he just knew used to be sitting in this pile of stuff over here......wrenches would be sent flying through the air.  David is a tick taller than me....you get the picture.

Hmmm, Why was it that you were the only one Jim would throw wrenches at ?    The rest of us learned to do the Texas 2-step when a 3' section of 2" steel pipe would come sailing across the floor after a warning in the form of the word  "Dam't" spoken in groups of 3's in rapid sucession

Every time I find myself saying that now at work, Hal echoes the statement with an, "Alright, Jim, settle down."

And also for the record, I've caught myself saying "dam't" in my best Jim Lockhart imitation quite a few times as well.  I just try my best to keep the tool throwing to a minimum.

I've popped the hood on many a 1.8T with aftermarket _everything_ and to bring some Johnston attitude to the dealer said "oh good god, if the factory had wanted that crap on there they would have put it on there when they built it".

Now where did I put that can of bus-be-gone...... :D

As long as a few souls were saved, you are forgiven. But never do that again.  I have to keep a loaded Musket around now to head them off at the gate :(  :(

Reese gave me a new card at the show. He and John are re-opening the shop, and running it out of his house until they can rent a new facility.
