The new VW shop is now really Anonymous.  It seems that one of the 3 pardners desided that he wanted all the money leaving the other 2 high and dry. I was told this info by a person who would know. They lost their building and just barely got out in time with their "stuff".
I told Kyle a while back that they would have a problem. To many pardners. I have never seen this work. 2 people is hard enough. Do you people remember the really nice restorestion shop down in Tallapoosa Ga. ? awhile back that went out of business after a short time ? Same deal . to many fingers in the pot.  3 pardners.  Its a shame.
I understand that the 2 of them left are working out of someones house somewhere close to Dayton Tn but didn't know for sure.
Chattanooga sure does need a good shop that would cater to Aircools.Chatt. has a few good import shops, but you better not drive on their lot with a Aircool VW. I helped train one of them belive it or not.
Not everyone can work on their Aircools and need help. I can't do it all anymore but would help out if someone wanted to get brave.

I know what I'm doing, but I'm holding out for the new Audi shop....
Wooden floors in the showroom
Tile floors in the service department
Air conditioned shop
Built in Snap-On tool storage units
Drop-style ceilings

.............
.........
I'll never want to work in my driveway again.

All right Ricky, Are you turning Traitor on us ?  Holding out for the new Audi shop ?
1-- wooden floors.  They do soak up oil really well.
2--Tile floors.  This should make it easier to hose down after the B.S. you feed the customer after he pays the bill.
3-- A/C-- Just to say "We Be Cool Mon"
4--  Wall mounted Snap-on-Boxes. Is this a attempt to keep the peons from stealing tools ?
5-- Drop Ceilings ?   I really prefer my ceiling to stay up.
I can not belive you are walking away from all those "Westys" to glue back together just to work in a new Audi shop. Gezz !!

After we shared time and space working for Jim, I would have called someone crazy if they tried to tell me what kind of conditions I'd get to work in several years dowm the road.........
Did I mention the bright lighting......
And floors that are ABOVE the water level....
I love you man but the only reason I hung out that close to you in the winter time was to keep warm.

Big D,  You have to understand what " Grasshopper" is talking about. When we  were working for Jim, you had just about had to hold hands to find your way around the his shop. They didn't have GPS back in those days.  The only time we had any kind of lighting was when a thunder bolt would hit close during a rain storm and show though the many holes in the roof or when a breaker box blew up(common).  This place was as black as the Bung Hole of Calcutta. There was more ambient light in Carlsbad Caverns.
As far as the rain water went, you just about had to wear hip boots and a Mae West life jacket. We only serviced "Schwimmagen" on those days.
 Summer  Temps ??  outside--90 Degrees
                  inside---105   "
 winter Temps ??   outside----35 Degrees
                           inside-----20   "

Now you know the rest of the story.
