new to Chatt; need a vw service shop...

« on: December 04, 2006, 01:23:47 PM »
hey! my 2001 1.8T Jetta needs some love & attention...(oil change, 100k mile service, and possibly a new clutch). dealerships usually charge an arm & a leg; i had a great place down in atlanta that specialized on vws (lewis motorwerks), but would love something a bit more local to me up here. does anyone have any recommendations?

thanks!

The local dealer ship is about it. Ask for Rick.

There is a guy in Ooltewah who has worked on my '94 Golf.  His name is Bryant Artigas.  His shop is Art Automotive.  The number is 238-9089.  I would give him a call.  He did good work on mine.

To be exact, I just finished one, have stuff ordered for another, and when the people picked up the one I was done with, they dropped off their mom's new beetle.  What can I say?  Daddy's got to go Christmas shopping.
I tried the street corners but I only made 14 dollars in the last two months...should have never offered that "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" thing, I guess.

No, seriously, when they wrote the notes about me on the bathroom stalls, they read, "For a slightly less than average time, call..."

Hmmm, Only $14.00 from the street corner thing ?  Maybe you need to
use a different deodorant like "Ode To Burnt Oil with Lavender".
Notes on the bathroom stalls ? I'm not sure what to think about that. I just remember some Dude named Kilroy was always signing in with cheap labor rates and a 800 number. Have you ever talked to Dr. Ruth about this ?

I have to stay up late to keep ahead of the "Grasshopper Twins" who seem to be Hell bent to give me a rash. They of course will fail in the struggle. If you want to get rid of the "Dung Beetles" you have to take the little ball of "Dung" away from them and send them on the wrong road home. End of problem

He got prior intellgence on you from observation over the years and i've got,,,hair I guess? Oh no I remeber tactical planning experiance, that was it. 8)

You don't need a large supply of Dasher parts. All you do is leak enough intelligence to confuse your antagonist. This will lead them down the "Garden Path" only to get them mired ever deeper in the manure . I belive this is what the Dumb Russians did to the Super Intelligent German 6th army at Stalingrad was it not ?  Sucked them right in and let the weather deal with them. The Russians pulled this off twice, Not only the Germans, but that little short f#$t from France Napoleon.
