Gonna replace the rear wheel beaarings in the ASBug when I fix the rear CV axel leak. Any one got an old set that they have pulled that I could get the #'s off of. I need the # actually stamped into the bearing reese.
I can cross them at work and get an industrial bearing that has the same specs that will be considerably cheaper than the $35 for the outter bearing that I was quoted for a Timken bearing.
I can cross just about any bearing with the catelogues at work if any one is needing a strange or semi difficult bearing. Dalton Industrial Bearing in Dalton, GA had the front wheel bearings for my AZ600 Honda in stock for $8 each when the Internet wanted $60 each for them. They were the same specs and worked great, they were just german bearings instead of Japaneese bearings (FAG).
Once again, I do not need the part #'s, I need the bearing #'s.
I can pull mine out, but then I'll have the ASBug down for an extra day or so.
It is a 1972 standard beetle that has an autostick.
Thanks,
KC
