I am looking for a mechanic in the Rossville-Fort Oglethorpe area. I have a 71 Beetle that needs some attention and I am having a hard time finding a mechanic. Any takers :?:

What kind of problems ?        Super Beetle or standard ?   Im' right in middle of building my shop in my back yard but maybe I can help you out without getting to hung up.

Well the old girl needs LOTS of work but for now she needs brakes. Also I would just like someone to check out the motor it seems to be hitting on 3 cylinders. The motor was rebuilt about 2 years ago but she has not been on the road since. Right now brakes are the primary problem. I was told it was a Super Beetle but I don't believe it.

Look under the front fender.  If it has a large coil spring its a Super. Spare tire lays flat under the hood also.    I do a lot of engine and tranny work and have been doing it for 45+ years. I'll be glad to look for you and see whats going on with your "Critter"
