Looking for Lockhart's VW Repair!

Does anyone know if Lockhart's VW repair shop is still around? I checked the old location on Rossville Blvd and they are no longer there. It has been a while since I've owned a VW and lost touch with them. If they are no longer in business does anyone recommend a good mechanic? Thanks, Kenny

Jim Lockhart retired but we have several club members who are very good mechanics. Let us know what kind of work you need and I'm sure you will get helped out.

At worst and most likely, I am looking at a complete rebuild on a '90 Cabriolet. Thanks...

You need to talk to Rick then. certdubtech. He's a shop forman for Audi/VW.
When it comes to water cooled he's your man. Sounds like a long term project maybe you can sweet talk him into it.

Thanks for the replies. By rebuild, I just mean the engine. It barely moves on its' own power in 1st gear, burning oil, and a pretty decent oil leak. Thanks...
