Late Bay FI Tuning.

« on: May 05, 2009, 03:47:34 PM »
Want optimal output from the 1.8l.
I am interested in finding out who "dialed in" all the late bays that are still running FI.  I have enough info from the samba to do the ruff dial in, but before I drive it any massive distances, I want to have someone with a sniffer to adjust the FI where it is running properly.
Any suggestions from the Russ' or Randy's out there..

Honestly it's just sort of "set it and forget it". As long as each component is tested and in working order, you've got plenty of fuel pressure, and no vacuum leaks, then just make sure your points are adjusted, valves adjusted, and your timing is set and you should be good to go.

Most all FI problems come from vacuum leaks, broken or corroded wiring, and not enough fuel pressure.
