Jetta parts on eBay

« on: December 10, 2004, 08:00:24 PM »
On eBay now there are a lot of cheap Jetta Mk2 parts that I wouldn't mind bidding on, but the seller is in Hong Kong. I am wary to order stuff from international sellers on eBay but they have stuff like pull-style door handles and Hella fog lights.

The fog lights I can do without but I could really use some new door handles, I like the pull style better too. Should I take my chances, or is there a better source for ordering these?

I don't think I will order. They all look like the same auction but they're from different sellers. It gives me a bad feeling. I like the pull style though, but I just remembered I had already bought the factory ones from Al Johnson. I guess I can stick with those.

Russ, Stay away from that Hong Kong stuff. You can`t just put a door handle on you think that looks cool .  Stick with stuff you can sink your teeth into. Hands on I mean. A $4.00 handle is a $4.00 handle. You get what you pay for if you get it at all.
