I'm happier than a mule eat'n saw briers

It runs! it runs! it runs!..  the monster that I have created actually runs. I finally got my engine together, could'nt stand it, had to hear it.  So I bolted it up to my tranny, (my chassis is all complete, on wheels, no body)  set a battery in place,  bolted a voltage reg down through one of the body mounting holes in the pan,  wired it all up with a new ignition switch that I had "in stock",   used one Smelly's tricks.... ran a hose down in a gas jug sitting on a stool...  put a dribble of gas in the carb,  turn the key and.... WALA, the sweet sound... not a problem at all.  no oil leaks, no gas leaks,  smoke rolling off my new headers that I painted with that 1200 degree header paint from auto zone, what a joke.  now they look like an old swing set that somebody spilled laquer thinner on.  but, if thats all the problems I have, I'll sleep good tonight.  I drank an extra beer after the smoke cleared.  still gotta get my timing dialed in.  may have to adjust the carb some..  I really expected it to be way off.  turns out,  closer that I thought.  I'm just tickled. Ha !  I would post a pic or two.. but I dont know how.  Maybe yall could help me a little,  I know how to get a pic into the computer, but how do I put it on here?

Usually, at the bottom of the page when posting, there is a "add an attachment" area.  Just click on "Browse", find the picture on your computer, open it, and click "add attachment".  If the picture is not too big or is in the correct format, the filename will be visible at the bottom of the post area with options to delete, or udate comment, etc.
Repeat if necessary.
