Holy smokes!!!!Tires that is.

I'm having a Vw moment right now. I just finished freshening up my 67 thanks to Jim Lockhart and it is sweet. I scrounged some parts for some carbs ,rebuilt a weber progressive and changed my leaky fuel pump for an electric type. Man ,what a difference! It woke those 88's right up. I got to be nice to it and try not to get too happy cause it will now lay some serious rubber! It never even spun a tire before and 10 minutes ago I laid a nice blackie down the drive way!!! Sweet!!!

O.K. I'm finished hot roddin for today,I'm gonna go recheck all my bolts and so forth. I dont know alot about the carbs Jim gave me but I have 6 of these Webers in various state of repair,I rebuilt 2 of them.

Layin' down some rubber in the '67...SWEET!  Life don't get much better than that!  Of course, I too am enjoying my new treasure from Lockhart's.. bought a '93 Fox with a locked up transaxle (that was sitting for 3 years) for an undisclosed amt of cash.  Put in a trans. from another car I picked up from Jim, which I have since parted out.  I've already been laying down pairs of big black playin' stripes in this one too.....something about killer deals on used stuff.  It just goes to your head, or at least it does with a couple of idiots like the "Swafford Twins"..
Hey, big guy, wanna race?

Aw just go ahead burn rubber. Thats what ex-ricers do isn't it ?  While you are practicing how to dissemble your engine, tranny and front tranny mount without the benefit of tools, I will be down at the end of the block with my single port and a cup of netar waiting for you to get there.
Kidding aside, keep a close eye on that Weber. They have a nasty habit of falling apart  apiece at a time, even to the point of wallowing the threads out in the carb body. I don't know why they just do :?
