Hey all!

Well finally getting some time to work on the trike!Just need to know how to wire the starter in and how to run wires to the battery and ignition to get her started agian , did it in chatt nut dont remember how to now . maybe some one can draw me a pic ? Thanks Fred

Hey-ya, Fred!

I assume you are using  a universal type ign. switch.  It should be pretty easy...

- Battery positive cable to starter lug on the solenoid, and there to alternator/generator.
- Battery negative cable to Chassis ground.
- Wire from battery source to switch for energy (a lot of the old bugs used an unfused line from the headlight switch for this)
- Wire from the hot (key on) terminal of the switch to the ignition coil, positive (15) side.
- Wire from the "start" position of the ignition switch to the small terminal on the starter solenoid.

That should be about it, I reckon.

Oh, and you need a ground strap from the chassis to the nosecone/body on the transmission too.   :-[

Hey Rick!Dont have any wiring yet just the motor in the engine compartment and the front of the bug is gone and a frame to triple tree bike front end ont the unit Thanks It the rear end of a 74 super
