Zen,  I never changed a motor before so I m kinda chicken,   Im kinda thinking on doing the head gaskt myself.

I've done both on my mother-in-law's Mercury Tracer . . . Changing the engine was EASIER AND CHEAPER than changing the head gasket with the engine still in the car.  I have a cherry picker you can use.

I think this "Super Head Fixer" decision was made by your hickified hay-seed alter ego (Futon). You/Futon must have eaten a bad possum!

After that doesn't work, remember, I have a cherry picker . . . changing an engine isn't as hard as you think.  It just takes time.

Ok I found just the head gasket for $50 bucks,
From the looks of things I leave the intake manifold connected  so a full gasket set is wastfull
Get the head checked and smoothed.  Waste a  couple weekends.  vroom zoom.

Neato  ill try em.

Strange,  I started up the honda to park it out of the way,  and it ran ok  not surging.   so I filled up the radiator  and it still ran ok no surging no bubbles.

Wacky,  Maybe all the stop leak sealed things up, I added a half can of bars leak  just for kicks.  Honda ran for a 30 minutes then the radiator started  peeing out a a pin hole under the  front bumper on my leg.

I filled an old 6 gallon gas tank with water,  I'm gonna have the kid drive it around with the radiator cap loose.
