FeeBee is grinding into second on the downshift. Rick says it's me but I never had a problem before. Could there be a mechanical reason for this?

Yes there is.   If the clutch is adjusted OK ( about a 1/2 inch of freeplay) I would make a good guess that FeeBee has a 2nd gear syncro ring going bad or it cracked . Remember, FeeBee's tranny was on borrowed time. It would cost more to repair the tranny than its worth. I would try to locate another one that you know a little history on and just exchange it.

OK , I will sell you The tranny from Albert for $8,000 and throw the rest of the car in for free.  Alberts tranny won't work in FeeBee though.

This day and time, Chinese bonds would be good. Then I would own the U.S.A. and then I could fire, shoot or arrest every politician and ban every union
