grease gun fittings

Is there a certain size etc grease gun fitting i need to grease up Roadkill. I can not remember the last time it was done so i am going to go get a gun, grease etc for it. Any thoughts and wisdom would be great.......

I just bought a generic grease gun to do mine,I think Like Fred said they are all the same???
I lubed all the stuff on it last time it was here but then again thats been awhile.

Thanks guys for the info. I just wanted to be sure. Things on a bug seem to be just a little different where you need this special bit and that special bit and need to tweek this this way and that way from normal water cooled cars that i thought i should ask. You are right Scott about doing the grease when you had it last but it has been a good while and i thought a little maintenance would be good. I will just pick up one from Lowes for $13.00 and some grease and do it. Thanks again ...................

Rick over at R&M has a NICE pneumatic grease gun that he used to force grease past the 20+ Year old concrete grease in my zerks.  Now I can put it in with a regular old grease gun.
Just a thought for those out there who are having trouble getting grease into the zerks on their VW.
