Is there anything "special" you have to do to a new gas tank before you install it like blow in it or fill it with Mad Dog 20/20 or can I just fill it with gas and be on my merry way?

Might not be a bad idea to run some commercial tank sealant through it.   They tend to start rusting pretty quick if you get water contaminated gas.

A half gallon of "Evan Williams" does wonders for rust prone fuel tanks. All you do is pour the Evan Williams down the owner and wait and pretty soon the owner doesn't give a damn about rust . The owner just throws the tank in and drives away happier than a Hog in slop.

I find that Jack Daniels has the same effect on all types of repairs.
