Final Radio Question

« on: April 06, 2008, 07:19:20 PM »
I have got the original sapphire ix Am radio installed in my bug. The power is on and  it all lights up as it should. The antenna is fine tuned and i have good sound on the channels that it get. The problem is that when i fully start the car the sound is dround out or cut way back due to the interfirence from the engine. On Samba it shows there should be a " sound condencer " or such to help with this put back by or on the generator. Is there a different way to hook up the main power so this does not happen or a place where i can get one of these condensers. Thanks for any help......Rob

I had an old Chevy Truck that I had to put an inline Stereo Noise filter on due to the a loud wine when ever the engine was on and high RPMS.  I thought I bought it at radio shack.
