Or, you could move south of the border (into GA) and not have to worry about it . . . yet.  It's probably coming soon.

I will check on that Zen and see if there are any works under the gold dome on it. I know the emission tests are getting out my way from one of the proposals I heard about. I'll see if I can round up the information and time line etc.

Copper Jewel I was not picking on the donut thing.I just think it is funny that someone came up with that.I personally haven't ever seen a policeman at a donut shop.Guess I don't eat donuts that much but you got my drift. They are just people like we are.You were one you know that.We do from time to time end up with a smart a--.But for me I don't sit there and try to make one pissed off.Why do it.All you have to do is say owe you got me.I'm sorry and go on.Why make a bad day worce.Copper am I right? lol Copper Jewel said it all in a nutshell.

:D No offense taken there 65, none at all. As far as cops at a doughnut shop. Well when I worked here in Carrollton in the early 80's I would actually go into the Dunkin Donuts when had a store here and go behind the counter and help out making and serving at times. I did it mainly to poke fun at the old analogy. You were right about some folks making the matters worse. It is the 1% that would make you so mad you could eat railroad spikes. I've had quite a few who I intended to give a "verbal or written warning to "talked themselves into a ticket."

I picked up the doughnuts for everyone...

Here is Gobus his dozen Glazed, 67 his chocolate sprinkles, and I got Herb some special ones. French Crullers with Rogaine!!!
 Ut Oh!!! I've had it now!!!!

This is a new show. It is not put on by a club but a person who puts on water cooled shows from what I understand. It is hosted by Lindy Herrell at Herrell Bug Parts. Their ad says there are 30 classes so I am sure they will have a class for dune buggies. As far as me getting to go, I doubt it due to the shortage here at work. I have worked 40 nights straight so far and an not scheduled to be off till June 11th as it is now. I am trying to get something worked out so I can go. Im glad they let me be a part of this club and enjoy this site too!!!

Wow !!!! French Crullers with Fuzz ( no cop pun intended)   No , you won't be in trouble with Herb. With that slick head , those crullers would have slid on across without him ever knowing it. He gets a little slow once in a while.
Herb built Lucilles engine (some kind of VW bus) at my house the other day. What a hoot ! He hovered over that engine like it was his first born carefully spreading his RED GOO in every place that he remotely thought would seep some kind of fluid . The lad can really get anal at times.  He did a great job. I'll give him that. You got to love the Guy. To bad you guys don't live closer. Then you would know what really goes on here at S.C.V.F.

 "Daddy Herb" gives birth,,,hmmmmmm  I wish I lived closer too. It would be great to get to spend more time with the S.C.V.F. members.  I guess I will have to settle with an ocassional meeting, some phone calls and the web for contact. It is better than nothing....

I have tried so many times to get my valve covers and tubes from stop leaking.Just picky I guess. They just leak a tea spoon at times but I have used everything I know to use on them.I've changed them out a million times.I have the good push rod tubes where you have to take the heads off and used stainless steel. Those other ones with the springs were worse on mine. I usedwell name as left me.The blue stuff, not form a gasket but around the valve cover gaskets that stuff that's blue.Stopped it for a little while. I was so proud but it's back.Oh well.I don't know if anyone has ever stopped all little drips.I can't afford to put disk brakes on now but would be nice to get the old hubs off and have them powder coated. Also would like to remove beam and sandblast and powder coat it also. That stuff sticks good.Had my engine pan (skid plate)done and you can't hardly scratch it with a screwdriver. You would have to dig hard. Some one before me really loved that undercoating. They sprayed the beam so thick it comes off in hunks. No there isn't any rust that was trying to be hid.Oh well.Rome wasn't built in a day.And the vw's keep me out of trouble.lol
