Engine Rebuild

Hello, I am restoring a 1963 Karmann Ghia and I would like to know if there is a good engine rebuilding shop in the Chattanooga area with VW air cooled experience?  Thanks.

YES!  Bobby Hixson, located on Fairview Rd? in Hixson is very good and so is Lockhart's Garage, located in downtown Chattanooga.  

Since you are building a VW, why are you NOT a part of our club?    We would love to have you join in the fun of owning a VW and sharing that fun with others.

Thanks.  I just found out about the club and I am going to join.  I sent an e-mail to the site expressing my interest in joining.  Thanks again for your help.  I probably will have more questions as I progress (or regress).
