alluminium pullys  look good. Ithink. but be carefulthe last one i used was a little smaler than stock. witch will slow your fan down.give you a little over heating problem and to top that off TDC on the pully was off about 5 degree off witch increased the over heating probles. So i am over the whole bling bling on a driver. Awise man once said (i dont care how they do it in California.) i should have listened..............

Empi does suck I had the same problem. Get a Berg pulley. The heavy one. not only does it work it helps take vibration out of the crank. I'm done with all those cheap crap parts too.  Berg is dead on accurate with their stuff. Oh I here stock is good too,sum ole feller said so.

I've run a rusty, slightly warped stock pulley for years with no problems.  On top of all the problems with overheating and timing marks letsbuggy mentioned, every time I've ran a cheap (but super good looking) aftermarket pulley, the engine has poured oil out around the pulley.  I suppose that if I had a "show" car, I would spend the money on a Berg pulley . . . all the performance of stock . . . plus good looks.  Until then, I'll keep pulling 30+ year old stock pulleys out of other people's junk piles and running them.   8)

I need the timing ring on the fancy ones. There are to many different stock pulleys out there. I'd never figure it out.

If you come over this week I will revel the mystery of the timing marks on all the original pulleys. You can draw them on something to remember so you won't burn up what brain cells you have left. This is something you really need to know if you are working on someone else's engine. Trust me . 8)
