OK I know I'm going to be bit in the ask. But here go's. When you replace the distribitor can you get it 190 out, and have the engine run? I have a 1976 transporter that I'm trying to restore. I can't find any timeing marks, the pully is bone smooth. I think it's a replace ment motor. I,ve work on volks for 34 years now and this one has me pulling my hair. Any help?
