What if a blast a back flush of compressed air  in it?   Maybe stick a sewing needle in  the hole.  My Injector is infected  with crud . I think

Sounds like it sat for a year or two with gas in it . . . right?  I had this happen on a late 80's Eagle Summit (MITSUBISHI).  I pulled the injectors and kept squirting carborator cleaner in them and gently poking and proding at them with a strand of copper wire . . . the goo that used to be gas came out looking like red mud.  I'd squirt 'em, poke and prod with the wire and them tap them on piece of wood until the red mud looking stuff quit coming out.  Put 'em back in and fired it up.  Literaly, fired it up.  Make sure you don't cut the o-rings (especially on the pressure side) when you put them back in.  I'm not sure if it was the cleaning or the fire that cleaned them out, but after I put the fire out and replace the o-rings, they worked fine.

I have soaked and poked this darn injector and still no gas goes out.  when i hook it up  and turn the key I can feel the injector click,  Somethin is moving in there.  I figure its a plunger or needle valve of something.   THis is a cold start injector that is supposed to spray into the manifold like a choke.  its  a toyota
