Clean the paint off with acetone, rinse with water, polish it with Brasso. 8)

use aluminum foil when you polish it...
You'll be surprised.
Works REALY well to remove rust from the bumpers as well.

Today, I used nail polish remover to loosen up the paint and steel wool and dish washer soap to scrap off the paint.   Tired fingers... I had about 30 of those plastic trim holders which was not enough.  I think they cost a quarter each at foreigh Aut.  o I cant find my used plastic do hickies.  Stupie looks good.  Just need to stick the hood trim .  SC

Trim update, Woke this morning and went to look at the trim..   Wait minute..  Why is some of it not staying stuck on the panel.   Hmmmm, those little plastic things you  stick in the door ,  then push the trim on.    They have little dowels in them.  I wasnt thinking yesturday ,  so I just threw the little plastic dowels on the floor.  Now I'm crawling around in the grass with needle nose plyers trying to round them up and restick the trim.  Grrrrrr.   SC

Excuse me while I go break out the jug of "Old Barley Corn". And the sun isn't even over the "Yardarm" yet. Those little dowels in the clips were not the results of keeping them in a bottle along with your Viagra .Jezz !!!
