Bus Hazard Switch Tip

« on: June 06, 2010, 12:35:34 AM »
If you own a bay window and are constantly having weird problems with your tail lights and turn signals, take a close look at your hazard switch.  If the piece with all the wires plugged in is no longer attached to the part that bolts in the dash . . . you might need a new switch.   ;D

And on that subject...........

If you own a beetle, pull that wiring cover off (if it's there), look behind the dash, and check your headlamp switch.  I have seen a lot of beetles burn up because if this happens to the headlamp switch, it pops off, the hot lead grounds on the brace, fuel tank in the trunk area.... you get the idea.  Worth taking a few minutes to check.  Like often, they're common to crap out.   ;)
