broken gas cable

Hey, guys, I feel like I'm just using you for info. Could be 'cause that's what I've been doing, huh? I broke the z-bar off the end of the cable where it attaches to the gas pedal. I've got a replacement but wanted to run it by you guys in case there are any tricks or "don't do this" involved that I need to know about. Thanks!

It's easy as pie just pull the old one out and feed the new one thru from in side the car back to the motor.

Also, rub the cable with grease before you install it. Do this as you feed it in. Otherwise you get a greasy cable flapping 'round your interior.
