Body Work

« on: March 27, 2009, 07:27:52 AM »
I wanted to see if anyone knew of a good body shop in the area that's used to working on old cars.  Most body shops today just do the bolt on bolt off stuff and use a lot of body fillers.  I want to avoid that.  I am going to have the aftermarket sunroof replaced with a donor roof and want the job done right.

Any advice?

Wouldn't have to go far from where it's sitting now.........

Only prob. is that i can do the cut/ weld/ fill stuff, but not the final paintwork right now, not set up for it.

Well that would work for me.  I didn't know you did body work too.  Thought it was just mechanics.   :thumbs-up:

We'll get you on the road for a bit, and you can watch me post pics of the work on the bus for a bit, then we can attack the roof panel.
