Whats wrong with your original supercharger? If it ain`t broke ,why mess with it. If you are wanting to go that much faster, go buy a Porche . Then all you would have to do put the key in go without having to fiddle around trying to get that G-60 right. You might call Chris Barnes at B-F Auto here in Chattanooga. He has had some experence with modified water-cools and if he can`t help you he would probley know who could help you with some info. The only re-mapping I have ever  done is when I go buy a new road atlas      Good Luck !!

I haven`t gone brought a Porsche because i like the fun of driving a retro 1984 MK1 golf (i think you call them Rabbits) that is capable of outdoing Nissan 200SX`s and Subaru`s, It`s a rag top aswell which is even more silly  8) It`s pushing 220 hp @ flywheel and only carry`s just over 2000lb`s(915kg) at the moment. Its pulling 0-60 in 5.5sec and reaches a 140mph in no time. Yes you may ask why i want more power but it`s acceloration i want! When i get this car doign 0-60 in the 4secs i`ll stop! (and maybe think bout buying some trim!)     [/u]

At least you've got your priorities straight!  It cracks me up to see these kids with ricers spending thousands of dollars on stereos, wheels, carbon fiber hoods, ground effects, neon lights, wings, big ol' fart can tail pipes and lots of vinyl graphics . . . and performance wise they've still got basically the same car that left the used car lot.  But they sure LOOK faster when they are sitting in a parking lot!

Now let's see Zen............the stereo will add approximately 2hp, the wheels will add at least 5hp, and the wing that looks like something from a Star Wars movie, I know, will put at least 10hp more to the ground. The carbon fiber hood and the ground effects will add a minium of 10hp to this mounting list but the biggest addition is the "fart can" tail pipe. This alone will add at least 15hp. So there you have it.

Boy, I wish I owned a parts store that specialized in some of this junk the kids are buying today. Somebody is getting rich and daddys are getting poorer.

Herb, Buy stock in Pep Boys. Stand in front of the store, look back and you will see about 40% of the store is catering to the "Little Boy Racers"
You forgot to add that at least  90% of the HP comes out of the owner/drivers mouth or other areas.
I think we need to invest in Rabbit ( I think some people call them MK-1s) transmissions and CV joints and everything that they bolt to.
Yea,I call them Rabbits and a few other pet names back in the early years ,but they starting to get it right.
I don`t think my body could stand 0-60mph in 4sec. Closest I ever got to that was a twin turbo 935 Porche I drove up I-75 a bunch of years ago. This beast out ran my shifter hand, left leg and my brain. I think all "Little Boy Racers " need to drive one of these to find out what real performance is. It would curl their 15 hair beard  . All this without a "Mega Fart" can too.
