I have an old manx sr on a 63 chassis, and I am wanting to install an autometer 5" speedometer in it. Has anyone done installed one into a vw, and if so what all is required? I have looked some and they sell eletrical and mechanical speedometers. I have also seen an adapter:

Anyhow, I am mainly interested on what all is requred. I have an old vw speedometer that reads to 80 mph, but would prefer to have something that reads up to 120 mph.
