For a tie rod to be adjustable one end has to have right hand threads and the other end has to have left hand threads.  If they both have the same threads, turning the center section will not change the overall length of the tie rod . . . but if you turn it far enough one end will fall out.

As for your question . . . we are talking 'bout Stupie and you live at the center of the triangle, so there's no telling!   :lol:

RATS ??   Is this a political correct explitive or are you expecting to encounter said "Critters"? on the underside of Stupie ?   After all you did find the living quarters of  en-flickertailers in Stupies cooling fan did you not ?  So why not political RATS on the tie rods. Some are twisted to the RIGHT, some are twisted to the LEFT. So goes life in the Triangle  for the masses.

i found a rats nest in the steering box cover... luckaly it didnt care to chew on wires.
