Any one ever tried a high volume fan???

« on: August 01, 2008, 01:41:37 PM »
Just curious if anyone ever tried this:
http://www.jcwhitney.com/ENGINE-COOLING-FAN-HIGH-VOLUME/GP_2000826_N_111+1972+200729905+600001645_10101.jcw
I know it's JC Whitney, but the concept of a 1.5 inch wider air mover should help?
Ret Bug Tech?
Cert Bug Tech?
-Thoughts...

Nuthin special, dont be fooled. Theres 2 different widths for bugs. The old non doghouse width and the newer dog house width. Dont worry about the difference between them,Just know they are different width. What they are saying is the newer wider one is "high volume" Its just wider. No different from stock on a newer doghouse stlye tin.

There was a post some were they did tests and physics and more air would not remove heat  from a certain surface area on coolant fins.  It was a smart read.  SC
