...was flipping through the old service manual the other day and i just happened to notice that most watercooled cars that came equiped with a/c have high output alternators on them  , i think the spec was {a/c= 68amps verses the non a/c = 42 amp) but dont hold me true to that anyways, this would be an ideal swap for a replacement or for an upgrade to use with large stereo's or extra lighting .
