If the re-built one was a good German core and rebuilt correctly with good seals, it's probably better than the "new" piece of junk from China or India.  Problem is, the rebuilt one is probably a junk Chineese core rebuilt in India with cheap Brazilian seals.

something is amiss in the frontal brake(brain?) region,  I got the Brand newly painted rebuilt master cyl. 18 bucks with core charge.  KaChing$$..  It even  came with plastic screw plugs to bleed.  Sweet..  Install MS with the plugs it.  and pump away.  Great pedal // "strong like bull".   Remove rear plug attach brake line.  bleed a little.  ROGER THAT..... Back brakes strong..

Remove front plug, attach front line,   no leaks,   but pedal goes to floor  like a dropped pancake.  What the?.  I spin adjust the spur wheels till the drum barely moves.  Repeat.  Squish,   Feels like I stepped on a rotten banana. Arrgg,  Frank comes over, hands me a warm Natural Light. He keeps them on the porch,  I've done about every thing I can think of.  Maybe one of the wheel Cyl is stuck in the out position.   Any thoughts?.  I'm in FLA  for the weekend so all I can do is think and do things that rhyme with think.   SC
