Looking for help.  Need to know if anyone can tell me how to re-install the window components on the doors?  These were totally gutted prior to the repaint.  I am sure there is a simple way to re-install, but need to know the process.

Motion Seconded... There is no "simple" way that I know of to re-install your regulator assemblies, especially if memory serves me, when it comes to the rear ones.  How "apart" are they?  are the regulators new, used (up?) or have they been rebuilt?  Unfortunately, It's been a long time since I've had to mess with the convertible regulators.  If they are acting up, they sometimes really don't want to line up when finished.  Most of all, if you feel overwhelmed, definitely don't proceed as you could break/crack the glass and then have to embark on the fun task of installing new glass in the framework (something else which seems like it would be a heck of a lot easier than it actually is.)  I could help, but would really need to be around the car to do so (it's a lot easier to point/help than try to explain).

Sorry for the severe delay on the reply, David...Removing the body from the frame? YES.  Adjusting the sliding metal sunroof assembly? (Shudder)  YES.  Adjusting door lock striker plates?  YES.  Adjusting/ Installing window regulators?  Negative... Bentley leaves that one out.  No help from the factory book, I'm afraid.  They do, however, outline how to  remove and install the bumpers, though.......
O.K.....A little note there, Everybody:  If three big bolts on each side didn't already point you in the right direction, put down the book and the wrenches and pick up the phone and ask for help.  If you're not careful, you'll put your eye out.
