Remember all those posts about how my car ran like crud after it got warm. I had changed out the carb and some other pricey stuff, and come to find out it is those little ALUMINUM hose clamps that my engine guy used on the Dual port seals. I had tried every thing else, so I attempted to tighten those clamps down to see if they were loose and they were stripped out.... So after another trip to the FLAPS and some stainless / stainless hose clamps of the correct width (not those little 7mm wide ones that it came with...) I put them on, torqued it tight and presto, my car ran like crap....
Untill I adjusted the carbie again and vroom, vroom I have enough power to start off in high again (I know bugtech, I know....) ( I had the thing running VERY rich to attempt to overcome the vaccume leak at idle).
I had forgotten how nice it was to pull up to a stop sign / red light, leave it in gear with just my brake on and then be able to start with out it stalling or me having to goose it out of low RPMs.
Any way, I'm back in the saddle again. And my horse aint lame anymore.
