My passat has started a hard up shift from 4 to 5, feels like i have been hit in the rear.  gonna look into it

still looking around, some idea are software update, none published, but the factory may have one,  soloniod problem, or maf issue, gonna try a new maf and battery voodoo and basic setting on the trans

I DID BUT I AM TRYING TO HELP THE NEW OWNER OUT, I TOLD HIM EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR BUT HE WAS VERY ADIMANTE ABOUT BUYING IT

They have gone to typing ro in all caps for some reason and i forget to turn caps of and to lazy to retype

changed the some of the fluid and filter, replace the maf and reset the basic setting and all is well
