My bug as she sits now. Just finished putting the engine in last weekend. Now I can start on her body. Smiley
Ah! The symmetry of a bug!

Interior is in decent shape overall. Off course there is the rusted floorpans but it is pretty much confined to under the pedals and under the battery - traditional places.

She came without a back seat but I have one to upholster and install. All the padding and insulation needs to be replaced as does the headliner (only because of one three inch tear - not shown)

Her body has a couple of small rusted areas that will need to be cut out and replaced but all in all she is fairly sound for her age (72 model)

Still have to get the electrical hooked up. Think I've got a ground problem somewhere.

A poor ground or better yet, non-existent ground is the most common problem with VWs electrical systems. Happy hunting.
