I've got a new shinney coil bracket.
Got a new blue for the bus and it uses a different type.
I'll bring it to the Feb. Cruise in.

I just got in an engine with an 009 and a 34 / 3 Carbie.
I do not plan on using the 009, I'll give it the once over this weekend to make sure it is OK, do you even want an 009?

We used one last year! We did a 009 with a 30/31(or other SP carb) on a DP with an adapter, so yeah, we'll take what we can! I know the 009 won't work with your 34!

Also, does anyone have a junker tachometer that they no longer need or want? Or what about a weedeater/chainsaw/lawnmower gas tank?

I have made a test stand and I'm wanting to throw a tach on it. For the test stand, I have a battery shut off switch, push button starter button, a toggle switch, two idiot lights. Any other ideas to wire up? Looking to have this thing ready for the giveaway motor to display it on. It currently has 2 wheels and a place to hook up a trailer tongue so we can tow it around the show.

I understood him to say that he couldn't use the 009 with his 34 so he was donating the distributor and getting a vaccuum one for his 34. I don't think a carb was being offered

Sweet! Any way you can take a photo of it so I can see if its what I need? Taking a whole lawn mower is a big commitment if its not what I need... but I'll probably take you up on that!

Awesome! Rick coming through on a lot of this stuff again! Is this all at the shop and should I come by sometime to discuss what you have?

William informed me that his crank was been reallocated to his own engine build...we didn't reimburse him in time to get the new one. But he said Lindy has some that have already been machined for less than half of a new one, so we will look at that or else we will buy a new one (hopefully at cost!).

OK, I checked today and I do have a good clean 30/31 carb that just needs to be gone through. Has a dead accelerator pump and will overfill the bowl sometimes, otherwise looks great.
several flywheels to pick from, all will need to be resurfaced
      used gland nut
several oil coolers to pick from
      several single port intakes
couple sets of single port heads
      tacho
I do have some cranks too but no idea if they are junk, may be good for resurface or cores
