I don't know what his bottom dollar is on the buggy, but yeah, he will take less than he was originally asking.  Like KC said, make him an offer.  In case you are wondering, Alan shortened the chassis and made the pan for him . . . and again, it's not thin sheet metal, this is thick, heavy guage steel and it's done right.  The body isn't much to look at right now, but it's on a SOLID foundation.

Add a windshild frame and roll bar, some lights and a speedo, bolt an engine on it, do a little sanding and spray some paint at it . . . If you're willing to put the work into it, it could be a really nice buggy from not a whole lot of money.

OK David, not every thing is about you.... Self -centered little.....

AFAIK Make him an offer.
I was offered a reasonable price for it but am just not interested in an automobile I cannot even consider driving from Nov. - Feb.
You cannot make the pan for what he wants for the whole thing.
KC

Everything I do, have done , will do is all about me. I am self-centered . I'm not a missionary and I don't lean to the left like some people. You own a van and you are not going to drive it in the winter ? What a wimp. Wink Grin

"what we have here is a failure to communicate..."
Heck yeah I drove my buses in the winter, I have had the old "lets scrape ice off the inside of the window!" episode.
So man up old fart and roll Albert in the winter.

KC will drive a bus in the winter . . . his problem is he won't keep it long enough for the engine to warm up before he trades it off!

Heck, I don't even roll Albert in the summer time.  I did drive my Manx in the winter time. Snow was a blast. Even took my ex to work in the Manx when it snowed if we couldn't get anything else out of the driveway. The Manx had a good top, side curtains and heat. Albert only has heat. Ran out of money for a top. I worry about getting caught in the  rain more than the cold weather. With the type of Meds for my bum ticker I take I cannot handle being in the bright sun either. Real bummer.
