The Volks Folks will be part of the Holiday Starlight Parade on December 10th in downtown Chattanooga. Staging begins at 3:30 PM, and we will line up on the 900 block of Market St. We will be assigned a line-up time when we arrive. Parade route goes down Market St, to 2nd St. ending at Ross's Landing. Christmas lights are required on your vehicle for this parade!

I've got to pull the carb back off Homer and clean it again one evening this week. Something has the idle circuit clogged (it's not the idle cut off - it's working like it should). I found out at Ringgold, parades are a nighmare when your bus won't idle.  I bought an inverter today . . . just need to pick another couple of strings of rope lights, get the idle problem straighened out and I'm ready . . .  |

We received the information about line up. We are #50 and are to be in line at 4:00 p.m. We will plan to gather up at Coker Tire/Honest Charlie and cruise down together leaving their parking lot at 3:45. The parade lineup will be on Market St. between ML King and 12th St. Just a reminder that the rules state that we are not to throw candy or any other objects. Zen, my idle was way high during the parade...Got home and found that a spring had broken on one of the carbs!

Set your DVRs for December 17th at 1:00 PM, Channel 3 will play the Starlight Parade in its entirety. I'm getting my dad to record it for me since I don't have Channel 3 on Dish anymore, so we should be able to get a copy for the web.
