The Scenic City Volks Folks will be participating in the 7th annual EPB Southside Parade, part of the MAINx24 Main Street celebration on Saturday, December 3rd. The parade starts at 11:00 AM.

Lineup will begin promptly at 10:00 on Rossville Avenue in front of Chenoweth . Halligan Studios located at the corner of Rossville Avenue & Washington St. The address is 1800 Rossville Ave, Suite 1. Plan to be there by about 9:45 or so and we can make sure we all line up together.

Christmas decorations are allowed and encouraged. The bigger the better. The parade will go up Main Street, turn left and continue to the intersection of Main and Williams Street where it will end.

Immediately following the parade, we will park out front of Merchants on Main, located at 607 E. Main St for a fun cruise-in and BBQ luncheon.

This event is a lot of fun for the club. We hope you will join us for the festivities!

It is not VW only but I am not sure where they will place you if you're not in a VW. Last year they tried to separate us but he promises he won't this year.

The parade application has been received so we are good to go.

Immediately following the parade, we will park out front of Merchants on Main, located at 607 E. Main St for a fun cruise-in and BBQ luncheon.

Found out the the BBQ caterer is a former Marine and has volunteered the food so long as those participating in donate an unwrapped toy OR $5 to the Toys for Tots organization. I didn't realize this until just recently and apologize if I got everyone excited about free food. Its still cheaper than anywhere else down there!

Deb and I had a great time there and after the parade. Got to meet your Mom, eat BBQ, and even spent some money in the store.
