This is the same weekend as Knoxville's show (in Townsend this year) but this one is Saturday only and Townsend is Sat/Sun. I think I'll do the same thing I did in 2010 . . . go to Decatur on Saturday and Townsend on Sunday.  |

As always, looking forward to seeing you guys...We got an oversize
tent this year (30 X 45), so refuge is available IF we get rain (been a lot
of hit-and-miss this summer). We also have the mighty DRASH tent,
which laughs at 100+ degree heat (seriously, this thing puts the AWE
in awesome). Come see me!

The Volks Folks Caravan will be pulling out of the Tiftonia Wal-Mart parking lot at 7:30 AM (eastern time) Saturday morning.

The weather wasn't bad . . . a little hot at times, but the rain held off. And if the heat ever started getting to you, they have this super cool tent (not as in "man, this is a super cool tent!" . . . as in "dang it's COLD in this tent") where you could cool off. There was a good turnout, I don't know the official count, but I would guess somewhere around 70 - 80 show cars and fairly large swap meet. If you missed it, you missed a good one . . . don't miss it next year!

I haven't been to this show since it was moved to Ingall's Harbor, but wow what a great venue! Had a great time despite the heat, definitely can't wait for next year.
