Parts and Accessories: 1974 Bumper brackets

I was at the Bug show in Sevierville this past weekend and I noticed quite a few 1974 and newer bugs that had nearly perfect bumper brackets! Are these people lucky enough to just have never exposed them to the elements or is there a secret source for these rare items?
My 1974 Bug was involved in an accident many years ago and the brackets were bent a little and they were looking pretty ratty to begin with. I've never been able to find anyone reselling them since they are the shock...

On the way to work on Monday i came across a pack of VW's around another car on Amnicola Hwy. There were 2 bugs ( new type ) an older Golf and an older Jetta. I found it so funny that they were all around an american sedan like a Ford LTD. Unfortunatly i was not in my Bug or i would have joined the pack........ ...
