VW of Chattanooga - grand opening???

I was listening to talk radio this afternoon and I heard a comercial that said VW of Chattanooga "GRAND OPENING"???
Whats up with that? :confused:
Am I missing something here???
the last thing I heard was that they were no longer selling Kias....

it's more like a grand re-opening.

they were kia/vw of chattanooga... now they're vw of chattanooga. sans kia

ya know, for publicity. to drum up sales and do that thing that all businesses try to do. stay ahead of the competition. that kinda thing.

someone that never thought about a volkswagen will hear on the radio or tv... "grand opening vw of chattanooga" and in their head will think... "i can probably get a great deal with a grand opening special. i think i'll go by and check out the festivities" then he enters the lot and the rest is automotive history. and also a potential new VolksFolks member.
