Looking through some old pictures again and found this one of a coin operated Herbie that Mid-America Motorworks has in their museum.  Other than the paint and trim and a slightly different coin box, this one is identical to mine.  I like the diamond plate in the floor and seat cushion.  I'd like to get a good Herbie paint job on mine some day.  Grin

This is a Bug that is in Houston. All the patina is airbrushed. I have seen the car in person a couple of years ago. It is a really nice job that makes you look twice at the car.

My daughter decided that my grandaughter would like it better with a multi-colored paint job.  Here's what it looks like after a week of spraying it with 20 different colors of Krylon.  Tomorrow I'll get a shot of it with all the flowers and peace signs she's painted on it.  And she was right, Liv loves it!  Now if I could figure out how to get my daughter to stop recycling the same 4 quarters, I'd be rich!

Liv would really love it more if you would paint some floating fish behind the windows. O' By the way Im going to steal her. I had way to much fun with that little "Varment" at the meeting the other night. She is a trip and cute as heck.

Yeah, if had fish floating behind the windows, she'd have it worn out in no time!  I couldn't figure out which one of you was having the most fun . . . we're going to have to sit y'all at different tables next time!   Grin Cheesy

Anyway, here's an updated picture of the kiddie ride.  The rain has kept her from painting much on it since Monday, but it shouldn't be long before she's finished.
