does anybody knows of a beetle junk yard around here.....my beetle has a very ugly rust spot that i want to fix under the left rear window..that rust spot has actually gone through :-( . do y'all have any other idea how can i fix it? thanks your your help. It is nice to know there is this group u can count on

That's pretty common for the late bugs with the crescent vents behind the rear side windows. A lot of folks fix the rust and then fill the crescent vent with sheet metal. I know there is a VW junk yard up in greenback, tn off of Henry road or drive. It's just on this side of Maryville off of 411. I think it's called foothills imports. I can try to find you some info but I don't know if they allow cutting. Maybe someone here locally has one they are about to scrap.

X2 on Alvin Vaughn, Cleveland Hwy in Dalton. Super nice guy and he usually has quite a collection of parts cars.
