River Park Open Car Show

Presented by the Harrison Ruritan Club, the car show will be held at the Tennessee River Park on Amnicola Highway on Sunday, May 26th from 8 AM to 3 PM.

Spectator admission is free, car registration day of show is $25. Pre-registration is $20. Dash plaques for first 150 participants, goodie bags, door prizes, and top 5 trophies for 20 classes of cars.

Funfest for Air-Cooled VW

Mid America Motorworks hosts the 15th annual Funfest for Air-Cooled VW, May 31st thru June 2nd in Effingham, IL. Event highlights include Big Red, the world's largest baja beetle, a new water-cooled show field sponsored by O'Brien VW, some WWII air-cooled VW vehicles from the collection of Dr. Mac Jones, a Beatles tribute band, and Filmmaker Damon Ristau (creator of "The Bus" film) will be there collecting footage for a VW Beetle sequel.

Y U Buggin

Presented by Georgia Dubs and Herrell Bug Parts and held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 1st. All VWs welcome, door prizes, 50/50 horsepower guess, raffle drawing for a buggy. The show runs from 9 to 4 and ends with a cruise around the track.

Stevenson Bug Blast

The Stevenson Bug Blast will be June 7-9 at Stevenson City Park in Stevenson, AL. Trophies for top 20 show cars, top 5 campsites, and engine sound off. All VW parade and cruise, Rail buggy demo, lawn mower racing, camping, and more all weekend.

The new location in the Smoky Mountains at Townsend, TN proved to be such a huge hit that we have already scheduled the show for 2013!!!Come beat the heat of July in scenic and cooler Townsend, located mere minutes from family friendly Pigeon Forge. The event will be held at the Talley Ho Inn. The Talley Ho Inn offers a huge grassy area that will accommodate show cars and vendors and spectators. And you can take your time browsing through the cars, sawppers and vendors because the grass is so much cooler than pavement.

VDub For Sale fee includes one vehicle and one driver. If you hae additional people in your party, they will need to purchase a daily spectator fee. There is a discount for two-day spectator if purchsed prior to July 13th, 2013.

FREE SWAP MEET SPOTS - Included with your show car registration, spectator registration, or car for sale registration is ONE FREE 10ft. x 10ft. SWAP SPOT for swapping parts. Additional 10x10 spots may be purchased for $10 each. *New parts vendors must purchase a vending spot. Swappers will be determined by having a large majority of used parts. Summer Jam 5 reserves to right to determine if a swapper is indeed a New Parts Vendor and may require that Vendor to pay the vending fee. Spectators will be entitled to one 10x10 spot per family (not one spot for each of 4 kids if you catch our drift).
 
Sorry, Tent Camping Is NOT Available On Site!We are working on securing camping across the street. Bus camping may be available at the showgrounds this year, but no campfires. MORE DETAILS TO COME.
 
There are several great campgrounds across the street and throughout Townsend. A complete list of campgrounds will up uploaded to the Accommodations page very soon. Be sure to check back for details.
 
Pets are Welcome
Your pets are welcome at Summer Jam! Please be advised that your pet must be on a leash at all times. You must also pick up after your pet while at Summer Jam.
 
Parking
Free spectator parking will be available at the Talley Ho Inn. A map detailing parking areas will be uploaded to this site soon.

Bug'n in July

The North Alabama Volkswagen Club would like to announce their 14th Annual Bug'n in July charity car show. The 2013 show will be held July 20th, 2013 in beautiful Ingall's Harbor in Decatur, Alabama. Proceeds from our show will once again be donated to our sponsored charity, Crisis Services of North Alabama. Bug'n in July will feature dozens and dozens of beautiful vintage and custom Volkswagen vehicles from the classic Beetle to the Karmann Ghia and Bus.

Cherokee VW Show

Held at the Acquoni Expo Center in Cherokee, NC on August 10th from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. $20 to register a vehicle and $5 spectator fee.

Tannehill Bug Blast

All Volkswagen show once again held at beautiful and historic Tannehill State Park in McCalla, Alabama, 30 miles south of downtown Birmingham, AL. Camping is available on the show site and elsewhere in the park (see tannehill.org for camping fees) The show is Saturday August 24, 2013 from 9am-4pm. Show car entries are $15 day of show ($10 pre-registration), New parts vendors $25, Swap meet spaces $5. No spectator fee however note there is a fee to enter the park.

Buggin' for a Cure

Greeneville, TN - The Northeast Tennessee Volkswagen Association, the Tourism Department of the Greene County Partnership and the Greene County Fair Association will host the second annual 'Buggin' for a Cure' all VW Car Show and Swap Meet at the Greene County Fairgrounds September 7, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and September 8, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. This event is an all VW Show, with VW vendors, local vendors, local food, and onstage entertainment! Come join the fun.

The 10th annual Flowery Branch Car Show & Chili Cookoff plus 6th annual Bugs at the Branch will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 10 to 4 PM in Flowery Branch, GA.

Bavarian Volkswagen Cruise

7th Annual Bavarian Volkswagen Cruise September 14, 2013. Starting at the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, TN on Volkswagen Drive at 8:00 A.M. Continue along the Ocoee rapids on Hwy 64 for a short break at the Ocoee Whitewater Center. Travel over Brasstown Bald, the highest peak in Georgia, and enter into Alpine Helen, GA for The Octoberfest Parade and festivities. Volkswagens cruise through three state parks. The ending gathering is on Edelweiss Strasse, where the city park is reserved for Volkswagens. At the free cookout there will be raffles, dash plaques, and discounts given.

Bugs 'n Brats

Airkooled Kustoms in Hazel Green, Alabama hosts the annual Bugs N Brats Show the third Saturday in October. Featuring a car show with Snoopy's legendary trophies, an engine blast, shop tours, and a fundraiser for the Shelby Humane Society, the show is a must-go for the VW Community.

Sugar Hill Car Show

Held at 5039 West Broad St in Sugar Hill, GA on October 19. One classic car competition (all makes/models) and one VW competition. Over 40 trophies, prizes and cash for best in show.

Bulli Brigade

The 20th annual Bulli Brigade will be held on Saturday, November 9th at Fort DeSoto Park in Tierra Verde, FL. The cost is $5 to park and $20.00 to sell parts (as long as you are not in a VW bus). Spectators are free.

Pasco Bug Jam

The 25th annual Pasco Bug Jam will be held on Sunday, November 10th at the Pasco County Fairgrounds in Dade City, FL. They have 59 classes of air and water-cooled VWs, lots of new and used VW parts vendors, games and contests, and more.
